Ingredients:

6 bananas, make sure they are yellow with a little bit of green (the firmer the better).
1 cup Rice Flour or all purpose flour
1/4 cup Tapioca Starch or Corn Starch
1 cup shredded Coconut
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/4 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
3/4 cup Water
4 cups Vegetable Oil for frying

Ingredients

200g Azuki Beans – (Red Beans) (7 oz)
700ml Water (3 u.s. cup)
(250g Cooked Beans (9 oz) for Bean Paste)
120g Sugar for Zenzai (4 oz)
70g Sugar for Red Bean Paste (2 1/2 oz)
A Little Bit of Salt
A Little Bit of Matcha – Powdered Green Tea

Mango Pudding

Ingredients

6 tsp powdered gelatine
¾ cup caster sugar
1 litre soft mango ice cream
75ml evaporated milk
1 cup crushed ice
1 large mango, peeled seeded and diced

Directions

1. Stir gelatine and sugar into 1 cup of boiling water until thick and syrupy. Slowly pour into a glass bowl. Stir in ice cream, evaporated milk, crushed ice and diced mango.
2. Ladle into bowls or glasses and chill for about 2 hours until set.

How to make Indian Coconut Cardamon Burfi with video guide from SBS Food Safari show.

Ingredients

250g desiccated coconut
395g can sweetened condensed milk
10 cardamom pods – grind/crush seeds into a powder
Handful of pistachio nuts, roughly crushed

Directions

1. Mix 200g of the coconut and the remaining ingredients in a bowl.
2. Heat a non-stick pan on low heat and add mixture to the pan. Stir over low heat until the mixture starts to dry and rolls easily into a ball. Remove from the heat. Cool for 5 to 10 minutes until cool enough to handle.
3. Place the remaining coconut onto a plate. Using damp hands, roll the mixture into balls and then roll in coconut to coat. The coconut balls can be refrigerated for up to a week.

Fortune Cookies

A video recipe on how to make Chinese Fortune Cookies.

Ingredients:

2/3 c all purpose flour
½ cup super fine sugar
3 egg whites
1 tbsp cornstarch
1tbsp almond extract
6 tbsp butter

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Coat the baking pan with cooking spray.

Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Gently whisk all the ingredients together.

Using a tablespoon, spread the cookies on the pan with only four per pan. Place the cookies in the oven until their edges begin to turn brown. Then shape the cookies and place them in a muffin pan to keep the shape.

Let cool and serve.
